About Us

Organizers of the Escondido Jaycees Christmas Parade

The longest running community event since 1951

The Escondido Junior Chamber (Jaycees) gives adults 18-40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections.

Members of the Escondido Jaycees have many opportunities to achieve their goals and develop their skills. Whether you are interested in being a chapter officer, or simply working on a project committee, you will have the chance to sharpen skills ranging from marketing to personnel management and more! Every member has unique talents to offer, and we provide them the freedom to contribute them in any way, from training other members, to creatively using them in programs and projects. The Escondido Jaycees have accomplished great things, including:

  • North County Special Olympics
  • Junior Miss Pageant
  • Annual Escondido Jaycees Christmas Parade
  • Kit Carson Park Play Areas
  • Kid Print
  • Annual Escondido Cleanup
  • Grand Avenue Lighting
  • Pancake Breakfast Fundraisers
  • Walk for Mankind
  • Initiated Graffiti Removal Program
  • Grape Day Festival Revival
  • Bus donation to The Escondido Boys and Girls Club

The Escondido Jaycees are part of the California State Jaycees, and are affiliated with The United States Junior Chamber and Junior Chamber International. There are countless leadership opportunities for members at each of these levels. The state, national and international organizations support the local chapters around the globe, and provide training and tools to develop our members.
